Home Office Space
In this 2020 time, A portion of the workforce is either working from home or job hunting from home. You either have a dedicated home office or carved out a niche as a home office. Is it working for you? Some tips on making your home office space work:
1. Comfort: Be kind to yourself. It is not reasonable to spend hours working in an uncomfortable situation. Make your space work for you. A good chair can be a male/break for your space. Organize your space for better access to your essentials and less overlap into your home.
2. Lighting: If you struggle to see due to bad lighting (too much or not enough), your work output and you will suffer. Try to locate your space near a window for good natural lighting and/or get a high-quality task light for that dark space or late night.
3. Space: Depending on your situation, it might be difficult to carve out a home office space. You might consider a portable screen or a rearranged bookcase as a divider wall. Might not stop the dog, but it will give you a better back-drop for those online meetings.
